Join local historians and history enthusiasts in a discussion of one of America’s most important but least understood founding documents.

Topics covered will include governing the new territory, the spread of religion in the Old Northwest, admitting new states to the Union, surveying/selling/settling the land, settlers rights, treatment of Native Americans, and Abolition.

Panelist include retired Muskingum University professor Dr. William Kerrigan, local pastor and history enthusiast Dr. Geoff Geyer, and Native American scholar and MCH Operations Manager Carrie Forgacs.
