If you missed Ohio Open Doors at the Mathews House, Behind the Seams remains open during regular museum hours through the end of September. (Please note: Both of our museums will be closed September 26th for the UGRR Symposium.)
Museum Hours: Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays (May thru September) 1:00 - 4:00
Engage with Muskingum County’s rich history by visiting the Stone Academy Historic Site and Museum, the Dr. Increase Mathews House Museum and Gardens or learn about Putnam’s involvement in the Underground Railroad at the UGRR Interpretive Center at the Stone Academy. Join us for fun education at any of our free events throughout the year.
