Friday Evening Event at the Mathews House

August 9th, 6:00 - 8:30 pm

Music and Local Trivia on the Lawn with Mike Boley

Mike Boley is a guitarist/vocalist who has entertained countless audiences throughout his musical career delivering popular covers from the likes of Jim Croce and Pail Simon as well as Eric Clapton, the Beatles, and the Rolling Stones. You’ll also hear renderings of traditional country and folk songs along with original material.

The zero-technology trivia contest will feature questions about Zanesville and Muskingum County.

We hope to start a new Summer tradition by offering a number of evening activities and events on the second friday of the month at the Dr. Increase Mathews House.

The August 9th event is fast approaching and will feature live music on the lawn with Mike Boley, a local history trivia contest, and tours of our museum and gardens. You are invited to bring a lawn chair and perhaps a picnic, enjoy the music and trivia, relax, and spend time strolling through our beautiful gardens.

Guided UGRR walking tours (including the interior of the Putnam Presbyterian Church), provided by the Putnam UGRR Interpretive Center, will begin at the Mathews House at 7:00 and 7:45.
